Songs cut after the truck is parked
St. Daylight has played music his whole life. He builds things for a living, houses and rooms and whole buildings, and he writes the same way. By hand, a piece at a time, until it stands up on its own.
The songs don't sit in one lane. One night it's slow and quiet, the next it's loud. That comes from a long time spent listening.
The first songs were written in a room off the highway, late, after work. Most of them still are.
